Living Naturally and Authentically

True story: the parent company of KatharineChestnut.com is LNAL Life. LNAL were the categories I put my own Inner Affirmations in when I was first thinking about writing a book. It stands for:

  • Learn
  • Nurture
  • Act
  • Love

Don’t ask me where it came from since I truly believe it was given to me by the Universe one late night.

However, today I was working on a newsletter or something and my preferred AI tool wanted the name of the company. After putting it in and making my request, the AI gave me this: Living Naturally and Authentically for Life
Interesting. I like it. And so, I’m writing you about this today (and a blog).

As we journey through the hustle and bustle of daily life, it’s important to reconnect with our true selves and live naturally and authentically.

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.

Three Actions to Take Immediately for Living Naturally and Authentically

  • Reconnect with Nature: Take a moment to step outside and immerse yourself in the natural world. Whether it’s a walk in the park, sitting by a river, or simply standing barefoot on the grass, let nature ground you and bring you back to your authentic self.
  • Identify and Embrace Your True Self: Spend a few quiet minutes reflecting on who you truly are without societal expectations. Write down three qualities that define your authentic self. Embrace these qualities and think about how you can express them more fully in your daily life.
  • Simplify Your Environment: Look around your living or working space and identify one area that feels cluttered or overwhelming. Take immediate steps to declutter and organize it. A simplified environment can help clear your mind and make it easier to live authentically.

Living naturally and authentically means aligning your actions, thoughts, and feelings with your true self. It’s about embracing who you are, without the masks or pretenses that society often imposes. By doing so, you can lead a life filled with genuine happiness and fulfillment.
