Self Love Challenge – Day 1
I started thinking about what kind of challenge I’d want to create this time of year, and I decided we all needed focus on the “self.”
February is often devoted to couples and our connection with others. But I think it’s an ideal time to spend some energy on cultivating one of our most important relationships: the one we have with ourselves.
Creating a Unified “Self”
Merriam-Webster defines the word “self” in a couple of ways, and I think it’s worth reviewing the entries. One of the definitions stands out to me, however:
self: the union of elements (such as body, emotions, thoughts, and sensations) that constitute the individuality and identity of a person
For this challenge, I want you to focus on creating that kind of union. It’s our first day, and that means it’s a great time to set your intentions.
