Self Love Challenge – Day 4
There is so much urgency built into our everyday lives. A lot of this urgency comes from outside influences, but when we’re bombarded with to-do lists that urgency can get hard-wired into our inner lives. This can lead to all kinds of mental and physical health issues, however.
It’s time to find some ease. And we can do that in a very practical way.
Prioritizing Your Mindfulness
The easiest way to ensure that you find time for yourself and for more ease is by prioritizing it.
And if you’re not sure how to prioritize the overwhelming amount of tasks on your list (along with your mindfulness practice), I have a great tool for you to check out: Eisenhower’s Matrix.
President Eisenhower used this matrix to organize his schedule and manage his time. He categorized tasks by their urgency and importance. “I have two kinds of problems,” he said, “the urgent and the important. The urgent are not important, and the important are never urgent.”
I highly recommend this exercise, especially after a moment of meditation.
