I have always been drawn to mindfulness.

In my early years, I explored meditation and eastern philosophy, but as my career in a high-pressure corporate world took off, that part of me slipped into the background.

Like so many ambitious professionals, I poured myself into achievement, chasing success while quietly losing my balance. Eventually, the weight of it all caught up with me. One morning, I realized I couldn’t keep living that way:

I had to choose myself.

That choice set me on a new path.

I immersed myself in workshops, books, and trainings, becoming a certified behavioral kinesiologist and experimenting with self-care practices that helped me manage stress, exhaustion, and emotional fatigue. Along the way, I also faced the hidden pain of a marriage marked by covert narcissistic abuse.

Choosing to heal through it all reshaped my life from the inside out.

Through trial and error, I discovered what truly works: small, consistent practices that bring calm, build resilience, and create room for joy. Over time, mindfulness helped me move from survival to wholeness.

That’s why I created The Mindful Life Community—a space for busy, high-achieving women to lay down their armor, rediscover themselves, and cultivate the peace they’ve been craving.

My commitment to you is:

You can heal from your past.
You are worthy of joy and wholeness.
You can create a life that feels as good as it looks.

Together, we’ll make it possible—one mindful step at a time.

With ✨ and ❤️,

Katharine

I had the opportunity to speak with Tara Bryan about how incorporating mindfulness into your business is more than a trend—it’s a transformational approach to scaling authentically and avoiding the all-too-common burnout that comes with rapid growth. In today’s entrepreneurial world, scaling can feel like a constant race, but my own journey proves that it’s possible to grow without sacrificing authenticity or well-being.

Over the years, I’ve been diving deep into manifestation and mindfulness, helping people move from stress to peace. That said, I was recently asked by Kaylin Wood, a holistic finance coach, to speak about manifestation. Kaylin helps busy moms make friends with their money so they can live an abundant life now and save for a beautiful future.

More About Katharine

Katharine Chestnut understands what it means to look accomplished on the outside while quietly carrying the weight of stress and self-doubt on the inside. With decades of experience in marketing—including a Diamond-level certification in trade show marketing—she spent years navigating high-pressure environments where performance was everything. That journey shaped her passion for helping women who give endlessly to others finally learn how to fill their own cup.

After transitioning from the global corporate world into coworking, Katharine became founder and Chief Community Officer at Alkaloid Networks, where she thrives on fostering connection and belonging. She also co-founded the Atlanta Coworking Alliance, furthering her commitment to community and collaboration.

Beyond business, Katharine has spent over twenty years studying mindfulness and wellness practices to support her own healing and growth. Her book, Inner Affirmations, grew out of her personal journaling practice and offers a compassionate guide for anyone seeking grounded self-care and clarity.

Today, whether she’s leading the Mindful Life Community, guiding meditation, or sharing her story, Katharine’s mission remains the same: to create safe spaces where ambitious, exhausted women can lay down their armor, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover joy.
