The Blue Full Moon Isn’t Asking You to Add More.
It’s Asking You to Let Go.
We have a strange relationship with letting go.
We celebrate pushing through. We admire endurance. We wear “holding it all together” like an achievement badge.
Meanwhile, half of us are emotionally carrying around things that expired seasons ago.
Old stories.
Old expectations.
Old guilt.
Old versions of ourselves.
And somehow we call it strength.
If you’re feeling this in your bones already, join me Sunday evening for a Live Blue Full Moon Visualization where we’ll release emotional clutter, close old cycles, and create space for what’s next. Consider this your invitation to exhale. 🌕
This year’s Blue Moon feels like a beautiful interruption to that pattern.
For anyone wondering: a Blue Moon doesn’t actually appear blue. It’s a calendar event — the second full moon in a single month, something that only happens every few years. This one is even more unique because it’s also a Micromoon, occurring when the moon is at one of its farthest points from Earth.
Smaller. Quieter. More subtle.
Honestly? There’s a lesson there.
Not every important shift arrives loudly.
Sometimes the biggest transformation isn’t adding something to your life.
Sometimes it’s removing what no longer belongs.
I’ve learned this personally and through years of mindfulness work with clients and students: your nervous system keeps score of what you continue carrying.
And I can tell you this from experience, my own emotional baggage still likes to pop in uninvited sometimes.
Mine often sounds like: “You should be doing more right now.”
Even after years of mindfulness, healing work, meditation, and helping others regulate their nervous systems, that old pressure story occasionally knocks on the door.
Not because I’ve failed.
Not because I haven’t done “enough work.”
Because I’m human.
Because old patterns revisit us sometimes.
The difference now is I don’t unpack and redecorate for them anymore.
- I notice them.
- I breathe.
- I get curious.
- And I choose whether they still belong.
Because this happens for all of us.
You see it in tight shoulders.
The racing mind at 2:00 a.m.
The constant feeling of being “on.”
The exhaustion that sleep doesn’t seem to fix.
And often, we try to solve it by doing more.
More productivity. More planning. More control.
But maybe this Blue Moon offers another option:
Pause.
Take inventory.
Ask yourself: What have I completed that I’m still carrying?
Because holding on isn’t always strength.
Sometimes strength sounds like: “I can put this down now.”
I believe release doesn’t need to be dramatic. You don’t have to burn your life down or make some giant declaration to the universe.
Sometimes release begins with awareness.
A breath.
A journal page.
A quiet moment where you tell yourself the truth.
✨ Save your spot for Sunday’s Live Blue Full Moon Visualization if you’re ready to release with intention instead of dragging old energy into your next chapter.
